If you haven’t seen the film to which the title refers, I highly recommend just buying it. That said, *I* am The Baker: This is my favorite go-to recipe for soup bread, KA Flour’s Hearth Bread.  Easy to make, only one rise required, quick to cook.  Lovely crusty, er, crust, and nice chewy crumb.
